Blazon Inc. has opened up nominations for the Maldives Business Awards.
The Awards were launched by Blazon in order to recognize and reward excellence in businesses in the local economy. It was officially launched by Registrar of Companies Maryam Visam, in a ceremony held in Hulhule’ Island Hotel.
In a press conference held in Blazon Inc. office, Blazon’s Chief Strategy Officer Ahmed Asbaab said that all companies, irrespective of sector, can be nominated for the Awards. He urged all prospective applicants to file in their applications as soon as possible.
Speaking to Maldives Business Review, Asbaab reported that early nominations will allow for the Awards team to review the information in the applications.
‘I urge all parties to send in their applications as soon as possible. That way we can check for any issues in the form. We also have a team to assist in filling out the forms as well,’ he said.
Maldives Business Awards Project Director Rula Athif added that partnership options were still open to prospective partners. She also called on those parties to give a call to the Blazon team.
Additionally, the Awards also opened up the opportunity for designers to come up with the design for the Maldives Business Awards trophy.
‘Maldives Business Awards was launched to bring about a beneficial change to the Maldivian economy. Because of this, the trophy that is handed out in the Awards, need to be a representation of this aim, creativity and ingenuity of Maldivians,’ Blazon Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer Arushad Zuhair said.
