Voting Lines Now Closed of Maldives Business Awards

Maldives Business Awards has closed voting lines for this year’s Awards.
Awards organizers, Blazon Inc., reported that the voting lines were closed off today.
Voting was opened to the public on Individual categories at the start of the month and concluded at midnight on 14th September.
The following finalists were up for public voting;
Young Entrepreneur Of The Year:

  • Fathimath Nada
  • Raaidha Shafeeq
  • Business Woman Of The Year:

  • Fathimath Nahula
  • Fathimath Nada
  • Raaidha Shafeeq
  • Inspirational Leader Of The Year:

  • Ahmed Shaheer
  • Abdul Majeed
  • Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem
  • Entrepreneur Of The Year:

  • Mohamed Ali Janah
  • Jaadhulla Ismail
  • Saudulla Ahmed
  • These finalists and other finalists were determined through a rigorous process. The Awards received over a hundred applications, narrowed to finalists through a pre-evaluation. The finalists then gave their presentations to a panel of judges, who were evaluated on a set of metrics, designed to identify how much the business and individuals had grown and contributed to the society.
    The Awards were launched in May of this year. It seeks to transform the business culture in the Maldives, by instilling the need for corporate governance and a strategic approach to business.
